Island Life

On Bainbridge that is. I’ve just returned from a nice relaxing week in the Pacific Northwest, spending time with my father and older brother. This is the view from my father’s breakfast nook.

Morning coffee and that view. LOVED it. Thankfully there wasn’t too much rain during my stay. Rain or no, it’s a beautiful place.

I seem to be suffering from yesterday’s incredibly long travel day (6 hr layover in Dallas) my mind is not running on all cylinders today. Therefore, it’s a photo intensive post….

Took the Steilacoom ferry to Anderson Island to look at the postage stamp piece of property we own.

Hung out with E in his studio wishing I had half his talent:

Walked from the ferry terminal to Daniel Smith without whining, quite the feat for me….

And wandered through Dad’s property, hung out with the goats…(Dad makes delicious goat cheese)

The entire visit was just what I needed…I’m a new girlie….
