I spent years thinking I missed San Francisco...until we moved to California (moved BACK for me)...and I realized it was the STATE I missed. I occasionally get into the City and enjoy my time there, but it was a shock to realize that I have no desire to live there again.

(Years ago I worked for a guy who was a member of the Dolphin Club and swam in the Bay every day at lunchtime. NUTS.) ;)

Thank you. :) I appreciate your kind words.

We've been back at least once a year, generally to swim the Alcatraz invitational. My husband's family is in SF so we are lucky enough to have a place to stay. ;)

Thanks for the visit!

I love this.
I haven't been to your blog before and I am so happy to have found it :)
I live just over the GGBridge and, indeed, feel so lucky to.
Your post reminds me of <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/lesophiephoto/412779289/ " rel="nofollow">this shot</a> that I took earlier this year. Do you get to visit often?

I look forward to visiting more :)
