My cousin Richard & I spent some time discussing the cultural differences between France and the US as they pertain to art, music and the movies. (You’d be proud of me, I didn’t touch the whole, Jerry Lewis is a comedic god thing)
Too long to write about here but I can share my favorite scene from one of the movies we watched.
“Les Triplettes de Belleville” ; we decided the movie was slow but the animation was wonderful. The dialog is minimal which worked for me, less to translate.
